RESEARCH MAY 'BECOME A COMPANY”: TIM #WCAP CALL FOR PAPERS OPENS ON MAY 12th PROMOTED BY TIM JOINT OPEN LABs

How to help research becoming a company: the best opportunity to turn innovative ideas into projects to address the market comes with the new edition of TIM # WCAP promoted by JOL, TIM Joint Open Lab, one of which, the JOL WHITE, was established in collaboration with Sant'Anna School, where it is located, and which develops projects for personal wellbeing.

In Tuscany, the TIM # WCAP, founded in 2009 as a Working Capital, is scheduled for Thursday, May 12th at 15.30, at Navacchio Technology Pole. Andrea Piccaluga, professor of economics and enterprise management at Sant’Anna School, among the speakers, is considered one of the leading experts in the field on technology transfer, enhancement of public research, creation of innovative enterprises. Gabriele Elia, head of Tim Open Innovation, is one of the invited speakers while Andrea Di Benedetto, President of Navacchio Technology Pole will give the opening speech.

2016 Tim # WCAP call for papers is already open (deadline: May 30th) and the May 12th  meeting in Navacchio  is the best opportunity for startups and spin-off companies, especially in digital field, to confront the staff of TIM #Wcap, also having individual meetings, and to turn innovative ideas into business projects, in the spirit of "open innovation". Since 2009, TIM #Wcap, also as Working Capital, has collected more than 8,000 innovative ideas, has supported 260 startups and has awarded over 5 million 500 thousand euro for business projects, many of which come from the best universities in Italy, such as Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies of Pisa.
